ADOTT holds 2nd Session of the 5th Synod & 14th Annual Women Conference: "Who is on the Lord's Side?"
The Anglican Diocese of the Trinity (ADOTT) successfully held the 2nd Session of the 5th Synod and the 14th Annual Women Conference of the Diocese from Thursday July 23rd to Sunday 26th, 2026, at the Anglican Church of the Redeemer, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
The gathering was held under the inspiring theme, "Who is on the Lord's Side?" (Exodus 32:26; Joshua 24:15), brought together delegates across various churches in the Diocese both physically and those that joined Online. The Synod / Women Conference challenged delegates to renewed commitment, unwavering faith, and courage in a world filled with distractions and challenges that can sway them as believers from the Lord's side.
The four-day event brought together clergy, lay delegates, and women from across the Diocese for a time of worship, prayer, Bible study, fellowship, and deliberations on the mission and future of ADOTT. A major highlight was the presentation and official launching of the Bishop's Charge by the Diocesan Bishop and President of Synod, The Rt. Rev'd Dr. Olukayode Adebogun. The Charge comprehensively outlined the progress made by the Diocese, its vision and direction for the future, and encouraged members to stand and be counted as those who are on the Lord's side. It served as a timely and unifying call for spiritual, personal, and community renewal. In a world marked by division, disease, and disconnection, the Bishop called upon all people to reaffirm their commitment to stand on the Lord's side and to respond intentionally to God's call each day.
Other highlights included the Opening Service, the Synod Lecture, the presentation and official launching of the Presidential Address by the President of the Women Organization, Mrs. Olatundun Adebogun, on Saturday, July 25, 2026; revival session; General House and group meetings for delegates; and an outdoor fellowship at the park for delegates & members of the Diocese.
The Synod concluded with a joyful Synod and Women Conference Thanksgiving Service, which also marked the 22nd Anniversary Thanksgiving of the host church, Anglican Church of the Redeemer, and the 30th Priestly Ordination Anniversary Thanksgiving of the Diocesan Bishop on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Delegates joined together in thanksgiving to God for a successful Synod and Women Conference, celebrating His faithfulness throughout the gathering.
As participants return to their various congregations, they do so with a renewed resolve to stand faithfully on the Lord's side and to proclaim the Gospel with boldness & conviction.
