2015 Easter Message to Knights

Brethren, we are in a Season to celebrate the Easter, which is the Resurrection of our Lord  and Savior ,Jesus Christ. It is also a time to express our Gratitude   to God because the implications of the Season is that our Salvation is  not  only real   but  our relationship with the Father is cemented forever by the Blood of Jesus  Christ.

Jesus says in John 12 v24 that ‘‘unless a grain of wheat falls unto the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain, but if it dies, it produces many seeds.’’

Jesus envisions that we, who follow him, are not afraid to give our lives for others.  If Jesus had not been crucified, we may never have had access to Salvation.

Unless we, as Knights learn to die to self, we cannot impact others through our services.  Our Lives greatly impact others, therefore we ought always to abide by the Word of God in order to be faithful to our calling as Crusaders  of Christ.

Numerous challenges lie ahead in the MDT, and we being the front-runners, ought to continually live up to expectation not only at home but also in our Parishes.

Our contributions, both spiritually and materially have been noted in times past and surely the Lord will reward us. However, we must not rest on our oars and fold our hands.  Much more work still lies ahead!!!

For example, our Constitution has not yet been completed and submitted to the Diocesan and we are all expected to raise funds  for the up-coming Clergy School as well as Synod 2015.

I am confident that we are all equal to the Tasks ahead and by the Grace of God we shall overcome all obstacles   ahead.

Once more, I applaud  all of you as well as your families  for the great Work you are already doing  and wish you well  as we all celebrate this glorious Season of Easter.

Blessings---
