To build a Christ-centered, multicultural, multiracial, Bible-based church that believes in the apostolic teaching and is sensitive to human needs.
Established by the Anglican Church of Nigeria as a missionary network for evangelism in North America and Canada, ADOTT developed in three steps:
First as the Missionary District of the Trinity in the Convocation of Anglicans in North America (CANA), then as the Missionary Diocese of the Trinity (MDT) approved by the General Synod of the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion on Friday, September 23, 2011.
On January 1, 2017 the diocese officially changed its name to the Anglican Diocese of the Trinity (ADOTT)
ADOTT is affiliated with CANA and ACNA-Anglican Province in North America.
